Message from the Uzbek people of the city of Osh, Kyrgyzstan
On the night of June 11 in the city of Osh in southern Kyrgyzstan, there were clashes between Kyrgyz and Uzbek youth, which eventually led to riots by thousands of dead and wounded (only the Uzbeks). The Provisional Government headed by Rosa Otunbayeva announced in Osh region of emergency, sent to the region, division of power structures and armored vehicles, imposed a curfew, but it also concerns redirected against the Uzbeks. Unfortunately the army brazen shooting of unarmed peaceful Uzbek population. Did not allow the population of Osh shall fight in the people's militia against these barbarians, to stabilize the situation. All Uzbek areas houses were destroyed by the troops of the CD. For example, in the regional hospital, and other city and district hospitals in the Osh region are more than a thousand wounded Uzbeks. The death toll is calculated by the thousands.We are outraged by the wrong information that is transmitted by the press and television. Situation desperate, pogroms, barbarism, vandalism, lawlessness, looting is no limit. Set on fire, looted, destroyed objects (Uzbek Drama Theatre, TV OshTV, cafes, restaurants, shops, boutiques, markets, trading posts, Market), which belong to the Uzbeks. Entire neighborhoods (Cheremushki, district along the street Kalinina, Mazhnuntol, Osh district, Mirzoolim, Furkat, Kalinin collective farm, city center, part of the neighborhood, Amir Temur), densely populated Uzbeks were destroyed, looted, set on fire and destroyed. The police pretended that he saw nothing, the government pretends that it is very concerned about the situation but did nothing. On television, the situation gives commentary residents of Bishkek, no eye-witnesses to the comment, not a wise old man from Kyrgyzstan or the Uzbeks did not come. The peace-loving people of Uzbekistan are calls for prudence of the Kyrgyz population, calls for justice and objective assessment of the situation, stop the bloodshed, to establish peace and justice throughout the country. Also, the independent experts, lawyers and politicians objectively evaluate the situation and protect the Uzbek people from tyranny.
